How to use this site
From the HOME Page, click on the link for the class that you are taking. This will take you to the Home Page for your class/subject.
On your class Home Page you will find any important notices, a calendar, and the year planner.
-On the calendar you will be able to find
-I will refer to daily topics and homework by a number. The first part of each number is the achievement standard (for seniors) or unit number (for juniors). The last number is the specific topic within that unit. For example, if you see on the calendar that tomorrow we will be looking at "2.4.3", you can go to your class and find the unit 2.4, go to that page, and find the third topic which will be "2.4.3." Any homework will be clearly listed under that heading, as well as other information such as associated textbook pages, notes/powerpoints, worksheets/answers, video tutorials, etc.
-On the calendar, if there is just a number, I am just letting you know what topic we will cover that day. If there is a number followed by "HW Due" it means I will be checking the homework for that section on the due date.
---Why I have included so many videos:
-There are many learning styles and I know that not everyone will be able to learn everything just by listening in class. The videos are there to help those who might need to hear information in a different way, by a different person, or in a place where they can pause to think or re-watch challenging sections. They are not meant to replace classroom learning but to enhance it.
